President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky supports the development of a national action plan on the protection of Ukrainians of alcohol and drug use addiction.
According to the presidential press service, Zelensky said this at the opening of the 11th sports and therapy camp of the International Anti-Drug Association.
The camp was organized in the Prolisok pension in the Kyiv Oblast. Zelensky attended the opening of the camp with his wife Olena Zelenska.
It is noted that Zelensky has been supporting the association and association’s wards for several years.
The President stressed that politicians and the state should support organizations that help dependent people to return to a healthy life with real deeds.
“I want to testify with my arrival that the state should pay attention to this issue. All, and above all the politicians, should support, come, be interested in problems, should show that they are not indifferent to such associations and to this issue as a whole,” said the head of state.
Zelensky is convinced the state at the legislative level should provide great support to associations that deal with dependent people in order to solve the problem of drug and alcohol addiction and to form a clear plan of measures to solve these problems.
As The Journalist reported, oligarch Dmytro Firtash said that he sympathized with Volodymyr Zelensky.
