President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated each other on holidays and agreed on new lists of prisoner exchange, including those held in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to the president’s press service, this was discussed during a phone conversation between Zelensky and Putin.
The presidents congratulated each other on the holidays and the mutual release of the detainees on December 29.
During the conversation, Zelensky and Putin also agreed to immediately proceed to agree on lists for the release of Ukrainians, including Crimeans who are detained in Crimea and Russia, and Russians who are detained in Ukraine.
At the same time, the heads of state expressed the hope that a complete ceasefire along the demarcation line in Donbas will begin in the near future.
