President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting with Acting Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov noted that the staff of the Security Service of Ukraine must prove that they are decent people, and work for Ukraine, no matter what President is in Ukraine. It is reported by the press service of the head of state.
“There is a big request for justice. We have to show the public that the SBU really works. I want the whole world to see that we started building Ukraine from scratch,” the president noted.
During the conversation with the acting head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Ivan Bakanov, the president noted that very little time was allocated for restarting the SBU, and therefore real criminal cases are needed, as well as to deal with smuggling quickly.
Ivan Bakanov, in turn, noted that the Security Service of Ukraine would do everything possible in order to fulfill the presidential instruction as soon as possible.
“We always told each other the truth, did not let others speak untruths. We never stole, did not allow to steal to others and always stayed people. It seems to me that exactly this values are real priority of the SBU’s work. Under any circumstances, we must stay human beings,” said Bakanov.
As The Journalist reported, Zelensky had a series of layoffs at the SFS and the SBU.
