According to the results of the first month of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky’s work, his team has presented 20 presidential achievements during his period in power. The corresponding video appeared on the Team Zelensky Facebook page.
According to the video, the head of state did the following:
– set up a full-fledged activities of the consulting group in Minsk;
– assured the international partners that Ukraine’s course towards European integration remained unchanged;
– received European leaders’ support for Ukraine regarding the release of prisoners and sanctions pressure on Russia;
– agreed on the resumption of the Normandy talks format;
– made it clear that there would be no negotiations with the separatists;
– submitted to the Parliament 16 bills that he had promised to submit during his election campaign;
– introduced a comprehensive law on impeachment to the parliament;
– introduced to the Parliament a law on liability for illicit enrichment, which provides for the confiscation of illegally acquired property;
– at the request of the society, dismissed the Rada of the eighth convocation, winning the court process in the Constitutional Court – began the process of a large-scale system reboot;
– began restarting judicial reform;
– submitted a bill on the abolition of the Rotterdam + formula and its transformation into Rotterdam – to the Parliament;
– presented to the domestic and foreign investors the strategy of restoring Donbas, starting with the de-occupied territories;
– debunked myths about default;
– attracted big business to significant social problems solving (purchase of ambulances for hospitals and apartments for families of captured sailors) without reverse promises from the authorities;
– forced the Cabinet to pay off the salary arrears to the miners;
– abolished school uniforms as obligatory wear;
– abolished “draconian” fines for violating the rules for working with cash, ( imposed on business since 1995);
finally settled the use of flashing lights – they are allowed only for a narrow circle of special vehicles, and not deputy or ministerial limousines;
– made Bankova street open to the public;
– established a new form of addressing the president (by name).
