President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky began a working visit to Israel. This was reported by the press service of the President’s Office.
Zelensky will take part in the commemorative events at the Fifth World Holocaust Forum, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp. In addition, he will hold meetings with the leadership of Israel and representatives of the Israeli business community.
The day before the Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Yuri Ushakov stated that Volodymyr Zelensky requested a meeting with Vladimir Putin during a visit to Israel. Zelensky confirmed that he did not rule out meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Israel to discuss the exchange of prisoners.
