The Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Ruslan Riaboshapka said that the President and his team intend to defeat corruption in Ukraine in the next 5 years.
“One of the key goals of the new president is digitalization. It is possible to fight with almost all shapes of corruption and abuse using digital methods,” the official said.
To Riaboshapka, the anti-corruption strategy for Ukraine will be focused on the most corrupt spheres.
“It is, for example, the corruption in state enterprises, monopolies, state banks. The second sphere is energy or mining, and next one is the corruption in defense and security areas. The above areas have the biggest corruption related problems, that need to be identified and to be focusing on,” UNIAN quotes the deputy head of the Presidential Office, as saying.
Riaboshapka added, that a quite long period is needed to resolve issues relating to integrity and the formation of the ethical foundations of behavior.
“We really don’t have much time. As the president said, his presidency will last one term, for 5 years, and in these 5 years we must to deal with corruption,” the official of the President’s Office is convinced.
As The Journalist reported, Zelensky will sign a decree against raiding in the field of registration.
