President Volodymyr Zelensky will dismiss Andriy Bogdan from the post of head of the Presidential Administration (AP) if the Constitutional Court of Ukraine decides on compliance of law on cleansing power with the Constitution.
This was stated by the deputy head of the AP Ruslan Ryaboshapka, UNIAN reports.
Ryaboshapka stressed that the law on lustration is of “poor quality and contrary to the Constitution. When one norm directly says that lustration does not apply to state authorities, and the other norm mistakenly does not refer AP to state authorities, this means that the law does not comply with the principles of the rule of law.”
“As soon as the Constitutional Court decides that the law on lustration in this part complies with the Constitution, the president will dismiss Bogdan as a person who must undergo the power cleansing procedure,” said Ryaboshapka.
As The Journalist reported, the current parliament will not support Zelensky’s initiatives, but the elections will be held according to the “old” system.
