President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called to support of Ukrainian film production among state’s priorities. This is reported on the presidential Facebook page.
Zelensky congratulated Ukrainian cinematographers on the 100th anniversary of the Odessa Film Studio and the opening of the 48th Molodist International Film Festival.
“The support of the Ukrainian firm production is one of the priority tasks. We are waiting for the coolest films on the screens, box office hits and international awards, and most importantly, the cinema audience, who will choose our films. Movies filmed in Ukraine,” said in a statement.
As The Journalist reported, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Government of Canada signed an agreement on joint film production.
