The space probe of the National Aerospace Agency of the USA (NASA) approached the most remote part of the Solar System on January 1, and flown by a tiny frozen rock named Ultima Thule.

It is expected that a spacecraft, named New Horizons will take pictures of the asteroid Ultima Thule. According to astronomers, this space object (or group of objects) is approximately 30 km long and located at a distance of 6.4 billion km far from the Earth. This part of the solar system located beyond the Neptune’s orbit is called the Kuiper Belt, Deutsche Welle writes.
