The mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klitschko has said that 76 residents of Kyiv fell ill with coronavirus over the past day. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.
“The number of residents of Kyiv who have been infected with coronavirus over the past day has increased by 76 patients. In total, there are already 6,689 confirmed coronavirus cases,” Klitschko said.
According to him, among the sick patients are 26 women aged from 18 to 83, 5 girls aged from 11 months to 13, and 42 men aged from 18 to 84, three boys aged from three months to three years.
Some 7 people were hospitalized, the rest are in self-isolation under the supervision of health workers.
The mayor also added that for the first time during the pandemic, 160 people recovered from the coronavirus per day in Kyiv.
“In total, 2,320 residents of Kyiv have recovered. Most cases of the disease were reported in Dniprovskii district (13 cases), Desnianskiy district (11 cases), but nine each in Solomianskii and Shevchenkivskiy districts,” Klitschko said.
