The open part of the meeting of the Chamber of the Constitutional Court (CC) to consider the case on the proposal of deputies on the constitutionality of the presidential decree on the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will be held on June 11.
As reported on the website of the Constitutional Court, on the eve of June 4, the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court considered the issue of determining the form of constitutional proceedings in the case of the constitutional representation of 62 deputies regarding compliance with the Constitution (constitutionality) of the presidential decree “On early termination of the powers of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine election. “
The Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court decided to consider this case as an oral proceeding.
In addition, according to Article 75 of the Law “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”, the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court “recognized the constitutional proceedings of this case as urgent.”
“The open part of the plenary session of the Chamber of the Constitutional Court for the consideration of the case on the constitutional representation of deputies on constitutionality of decree of the President of Ukraine” On early termination of VRU powers and appointment of early elections “will be held on June 11, 2019 at 10:00,” said the court.
At the same time, according to UNIAN, the Constitutional Court will consider the representation of people’s deputies about constitutionality of the presidential decree on early termination of powers of the VerkhovnaRada as urgent.
