The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said at a meeting with business representatives in Kyiv that a plan to overcome corruption in the judicial system would be submitted in the nearest future.

“I understand and respect judicial independence of judges, but neither society nor investors believe in the current judicial system. The recent reform has not been successful. Our team is preparing a plan to overcome corruption in the courts, and soon we are going to present it separately in the near future. We will start with the launch of an anti-corruption court,” the head of state said.

In addition, according to Zelensky, the ban on free disposing of land, currency values and legal gambling should be lifted.

“Ukraine needs to get rid of naphthalic post-Soviet regulation  introduced for a planned economy, that is, prohibitions for individual disposing of his/her property, namely: land, currency values along with the prohibition to be freely engaged in activities without hurting the others. For example, legal gambling. All these bans should be lifted,” the president said.

As The Journalist reported, in 5 years, over 90% of all public services will be moved online in Ukraine.
