The draft concept of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky “The State in the Smartphone” provides for above 90% of all Ukraine’s public services to be moved online in 5 years.

The press service of the Presidential Administration reports about it with reference to presidential adviser Mykhailo Fedoriv.

“Already this year we are going to give impetus to the MobileID project, introduce SmartID (electronic signature in the mobile application) and create a convenient and accessible network for Ukrainians to receive eID services. By 2024, 75% of the population should have and be able to use reliable and secured eID funds, and that will make Ukrainians forget forever what an official looks like and where he is, because more than 90% of all public services will be moved online”, Fedoriv said.

It is noted that during the discussion of the draft concept of “The State in the Smartphone” Fedoriv presented an action plan of President Volodymyr Zelensky for the development of electronic services, electronic identification, open data, reform of state registers and interoperability (the ability of systems to interact) vision of the digital development management structure to the members of the IT Committee of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs.

“Talented Ukrainian businessmen are successfully digitizing the economies of many other countries. But, unfortunately, not Ukraine’s one. Today we are developing clear plans and goals for the digital economy development for the next 5 years”, the official said.
