The largest oil producing company Ukrnafta started drilling a new 1.5 km depth oil well in Lviv Oblast with expected productivity of 27 tons per day.
This was stated by the Ukrnafta’s Deputy Chairman of the Board and Executive Vice President for the extraction and processing, Mavrikii Kalugin.
The company began drilling a new well at the Verkhniomaslovetske site in Lviv Oblast, UNIAN reports.
“We need to drill at least 10 oil and gas wells, investing UAH 800–900 million a year to achieve significant production increase. But we continue to work on the current fund with the minimal investments so far,” Kalugin emphasized.
The company’s financial plan provides for the drilling of three new wells a year with the UAH 2.9 billion of the total investment program.
