The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) has summoned the mayor of Kyiv, Vitalii Klitschko, for interrogation in a case concerning the use of communal lands, RBC-Ukraine reports.
The interrogation is scheduled for July 26 and it concerns the investigation of the use of communal lands, the press secretary for the State Registration Committee Anzhelika Ivanova said. She clarifies that Klitschko summoned as a witness in this case.
The mayor of the capital made a statement that information about criminal proceedings regarding him is “absolute nonsense,” inspired to cause certain media effect.
At the same time, Klitschko advised Portnov to wait for a SBI response.
