Zelensky appoints heads of Ukrainian diplomatic missions

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has made a number of staff appointments in the diplomatic sphere. In particular, he appointed Voladymyr Yelchenko as Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States. His previous post of permanent representative of Ukraine to the UN was taken by Serhiy Kyslytsia.

The relevant decree No.911/2019 (on the appointment of Yelchenko) was published on the website of the head of state. At the same time, according to the decree No.916/2019, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Serhiy Kyslytsia took post of permanent representative of Ukraine to the UN.

In addition, Myroslava Shcherbatiuk was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Andriy Kuzmenko was appointed Ambassador to the State of Qatar, Mark Shevchenko was appointed Ambassador to Moldova, and Serhiy Kamyshev was appointed Ambassador to China.
