Zelensky calls on Omani businessmen to join large privatization in Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr called on Omani entrepreneurs to participate in the large privatization in Ukraine.

According to the presidential press service, Zelensky met with the Executive President of the State General Reserve Fund of the Sultanate of Oman Abdulsalam al Murshidi.

During the meeting the parties discussed trade, economic and investment cooperation between Ukraine and Oman. They noted that the current level of bilateral investment cooperation did not correspond to the existing potential, in particular compared to the dynamic growth of trade relations, and agreed on the need to intensify it.

Zelensky emphasized that modern Ukraine offers significant investment opportunities and informed about the conditions and advantages of doing business in Ukraine for foreign investors, creating a favorable business environment, the most attractive areas for investment and “called on Omani partners to join a large privatization in Ukraine”.

The Omani side expressed interest in enhancing cooperation in the investment sector and accepted the invitation of President Zelensky to visit Ukraine to familiarize themselves with promising projects and areas of cooperation.

On January 5, President Zelensky with his family departed Oman by regular flight at his own expense.

As The Journalist reported, Mylovanov told about medium-term plans of Ministry of Economy.
