The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov, during the Conciliation Council, appealed to the leaders of parliamentary committees to prepare a draft resolution on the tragedy of the Ukrainian flight in Iran.
“I would like to appeal to the Committees on National Security and Defense and International Cooperation to hold a meeting and express my position, as well as the position of the Verkhovna Rada. I also appeal to our colleagues to prepare a resolution of the parliament on these events and do it as soon as possible,” Razumkov noted.
According to the speaker, this must be done today in order to consider such a draft resolution in the session hall of the parliament tomorrow.
Razumkov also added that there is already preliminary information about the circumstances of the tragedy, and those responsible should be punished.
Participants in the Conciliation Council honored the memory of those who died in the crash of the Ukrainian liner with a minute of silence.
At the same time, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danyliv said that part of the Ukrainian specialists, who worked at the crash site of the UIA Boeing 737 PS752 flight, returning to Ukraine from Iran.
“Some of our specialists who are no longer needed there have completed all their necessary work and are returning to Ukraine. They crossed the border, we did everything necessary to ensure that their return was safe,” Radio Liberty quotes the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, as saying.
According to him, other Ukrainian experts continue to work in Iran.
“Everyone who deals with the investigation, DNA issues, and also collaborates with specialized services – everyone who needs to stay there, they stayed,” Danyliv emphasized.
