Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk said that the ex-goalkeeper of Dynamo Kyiv FC Oleksandr Shovkovskiy might head the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The head of government noted that he proposed Shovkovskiy’s candidacy for the post of Minister of Youth and Sports, but the government has not yet seriously discussed this idea.
To Honcharuk, the government wants to strengthen its economic bloc.
“It’s like the government needs a person who will coordinate the economy, energy and infrastructure body,” Honcharuk said on ICTV, adding that this could be the new deputy prime minister.
The government intended to strengthen the social block, since more than 10 million Ukrainians live below the poverty line. Among other innovations, the government decided to divide the Ministry for Veterans Affairs and the Occupied Territories.
As The Journalist reported, Ukraine intends to digitize 50 public services in 2020.
