Residents of 504 settlements across Ukraine experienced blackout after worsening weather conditions. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine.
“As of February 7, 7:00 a.m., 504 settlements in 12 oblasts reported power cuts. In particular, the electricity support was disrupted in 147 towns and villages in Mykolaiv Oblast, in Odesa Oblast (124), Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (69), Kherson Oblast (52), Zaporizhzhia Oblast (41), Donetsk Oblast (25), Poltava Oblast (11), Vinnytsia Oblast (11), Sumy Oblast (8), Kirovohrad Oblast (8), Cherkasy Oblast (5) and Luhansk Oblast (3),” rescuers report.
Oblasts energy distribution companies (Oblenergo) deployed their repair teamsto tackle blackouts.
