According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, Canada will allocate an additional CAD 4.3 million to support the security and defense sector of Ukraine.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba hold a phone conversation with Canadian Foreign Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne.
“Dmytro Kuleba expressed gratitude for the active participation of the Canadian military in Operation Unifier and the important contribution of the Canadian Armed Forces to strengthening the security of our state in cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. François-Philippe Champagne announced the decision of the Canadian government to allocate an additional CAD 4.3 million to support the security and defense sector of Ukraine,” the message reads.
The ministers also discussed the situation in Belarus and coordinated actions on the issue of the UIA plane crash, in particular, regarding receiving compensation from Iran for the downing of the airliner.
