The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine has refused to register a former deputy of the Party of Regions faction and former head of the Viktor Yanukovych Presidential Administration Andriy Kliuiev as a MP candidate for early parliamentary elections in Ukraine.
According to the CEC, such a decision was made the day before, on June 23, at the meeting held by the Commission Chairman Tatiana Slipachuk.
“Kliuiev Andriy, nominated by the Liberal Party of Ukraine in the election district No.46, as the MP candidate for early parliamentary elections is denied registration,” the CEC reports.
Kliuiev was running for the MP candidate on the majority district in Donetsk Oblast.
As The Journalist reported, CEC registered 892 majoritarian and lists of six political parties.
