Defense Minister of Ukraine will take part in Munich Security Conference

On February 14 – 15, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Zahorodniuk will take part in the 56th Munich Security Conference, which will be held in the Federal Republic of Germany. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

This year’s Munich Security Conference is expected to bring together more than 35 heads of state and government, 100 ministers of foreign affairs and defense, as well as opinion leaders from around the world to discuss current crises and future security issues.

During the conference, Andriy Zahorodniuk will hold a series of bilateral meetings with defense ministers – participants of the conference.

In addition, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine will take part in events with the participation of the President of Ukraine and will speak at the Transparency lnternational panel discussion “National Security Administration: using independent oversight to create effective institutions.”

The Munich Security Conference has become the leading global forum for discussing international security policies over the past five decades. It brings together more than 500 senior executives and opinion leaders from around the world in February each year. MSC provides a unique opportunity to discuss policy at the highest level in a secure and informal space.
