The European Union expressed great concern about Iran to not comply with the restrictions of the Vienna Nuclear Agreement and intentions to enrich uranium above the level of 3.67%.

“We urge Iran to immediately stop all actions that contradict the treaty obligations”, Maja Kocijančič a representative of the EU foreign policy service said.

According to Kocijančič, the EU is in contact with other parties of the agreement with regard to the further steps, expecting information from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), writes DW.

We note that Tehran intends to begin a gradual increase of enrichment of uranium to 20%.

At the moment, Iran is not going to increase the number of uranium enrichment centrifuges, but within 60 days, the authorities are going to make a decision on refusing further nuclear deal commitments.

Due to the current situation, the IAEA will hold an emergency meeting on July 10. It is known that the participants of the meeting will discuss the situation regarding Iran’s nuclear program.

As reported by The Journalist, Iran quadrupled production of uranium.
