The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has improved the forecast for economic growth in Ukraine, according to the IMF World Economic Outlook.
Ukrainian economy is expected to grow in 2019 by 3% from 2.7% previously forecasted. The growth of gross domestic product (GDP) in Ukraine in 2020 expected to be 3%.
According to the forecast, inflation in 2019 in Ukraine will be 8.7%, and in 2020 it will drop to 5.9%. Unemployment in Ukraine will drop to 8.7% in 2019 and 8.2% in 2020.
The IMF’s Global Economic Outlook is published by the Fund twice a year. This document clarifies the latest forecasts for economic growth both globally and by region and individual country.
