The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has appointed Iryna Venediktova the new Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Some 269 people’s deputies backed this decision.
Iryna Venediktova is a well-known lawyer, doctor of legal sciences, former MP; now acts as the head of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).
“Everything that can be quickly and legally completed, will be completed quickly and legally,” she said.
As The Journalist reported, Zelensky dismissed SBI director.
