On July 26, the Commander of the Joint Forces (JFO) issued an order to observe a full and comprehensive ceasefire in Donbas. The JFO HQ confirmed that it comes in line with the present measures determined by the Trilateral Contact Group.
Compliance with the silence regime came into force from 12:00 a.m. on July 27, 2020. The Turkish authorities expressed satisfaction with the coordination of new ceasefire measures in the territory of Donbas. Ankara hopes that all parties will adhere to these agreements. This statement was made by the representative of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Hami Aksoy.
