During the working visit in Munich, Zelensky has proposed an idea of joint patrolling Ukraine-Russia border both by OSCE and D/LPR representatives in order to hold elections.

The idea of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on joint patrolling in Donbas should be discussed with the “LPR” and “DPR”, said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov.

“It’s a new initiative. In order to consider this initiative, one has to take into account the opinion of leaders of the non-recognized republics, understand their positions, that is, one has to communicate [with them],” he said.

Peskov also drew attention to the fact that “in order to understand the position of the leadership of the unrecognized republics, you need to communicate with them.”

“As far as we understand the source, that is, Kyiv, the author of this initiative still does not show readiness to start a dialogue with representatives of the unrecognized republics of Donbas,” Peskov added.

As The Journalist reported, Defense Minister of Ukraine will take part in Munich Security Conference.
