The source reports that the militants violated the cease-fire regime eight times, four times using 122mm artillery systems and 120mm and 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
“The enemy also shelled Ukrainian defenders from the armament mounted on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms,” the message says.
It is noted that shelling was carried out in the area of settlements Vodyane, Pisky, Opytne, Pishevyk, Verkhniotoretske, Avdiyivka, Novoluhanske and Krymske.
“As a result of the shelling, two members of the Joint Forces were injured. Units of the Joint Forces conducted an active defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy,” said in a statement.
According to intelligence data, one occupier was wounded.
