Representative of the President in the Cabinet of Ministers Andriy Gerus has expressed confidence that a new government will be formed in the first days of the new parliament.
This was announced by Gerus on the air of the “Breakfast with 1 + 1” morning TV program.
“I think the new Cabinet will be formed on the first or second day of the new parliament. I’m sure of that,” Zelensky’s representative in the government said.
To Gerus, “the Holos party will be able to enter the coalition on the first day of the new parliament.”
In addition, all agreements on the composition of the new government can be reached in August.
“All the agreements can be reached in August, in order to avoid wasting of the time later. We don’t have much time since the country needs quick changes so that society could feel the positive effect of the reforms. Every day there will be made new decisions and steps to move forward,” Gerus emphasized.
Also, according to the representative of the president, the new Verkhovna Rada could held first meeting in early September.
“I think, in early September,” Gerus said.
