Poroshenko also expressed hope that the team of Volodymyr Zelensky will not interfere in the affairs of the court. This is reported by the press service of the head of state.
Petro Poroshenko noted that judicial reform in Ukraine has already yielded tangible positive results. The head of state stressed that the formation of the Supreme Court and Supreme Anticorruption Court has already been completed, and judges who have successfully passed the qualification assessment have already been moved to the new appellate courts and started working.
“I hope that the next president and his team will respect the decision on an independent and just court enshrined in the Constitution,” said Poroshenko.
Poroshenko recalled that it is precisely this form of independence, when neither the President nor the Parliament have any influence on the court, and the procedures for the appointment and dismissal of judges are at the heart of judicial reform.
As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko appoints new military commander in combat zone and orders to liberate Donbas.
