People’s Deputy of Ukraine, member of the election headquarters of Petro Poroshenko, Maksym Savrasov, called on pro-European presidential candidates, who did not go to the second round, to support the current president, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“We call on the Democratic candidates who did not proceed to the second round to support the democratic pro-European candidates,” Savrasov said at a briefing on Monday in Kyiv.
He also invited the volunteers who supported the other democratic pro-European candidates in the first round to join the Poroshenko team.
“Let’s ensure fair elections in the second round together,” Maxim Savrasov called.
As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko commented on the draft statement of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on the non-recognition of elections in Ukraine.
