The fifth president of Ukraine and the leader of the European Solidarity political party, Petro Poroshenko, hopes to unite with Zelensky for continuing Ukraine’s pace to the European Union and NATO. He stated this on the Priamy TV channel.
“I want to make a special emphasis: I will do everything possible to help the President Zelensky to fulfill the task for achieving progress in implementation of the European integration in Ukraine;s context, without any reservations, not only through the live broadcasts. I am always ready to help with advice, actions, my connections if necessary, because it has to be done not for President Zelensky or for the fifth President Poroshenko, it is for Ukraine. Our political force, our party is the party of statesmen. We do not pull up the blanket and do not take care about ratings. We are statists. We are building Ukraine. Thus, I will do all I can for both the visits–to Paris and the visit to Berlin–to be successful,” Poroshenko stressed.
The European Solidarity leader also noted that the Ukraine-EU Summit should take place on July 8, with no delays, because new European Parliament as well as new European Council are to be formed, and Ukraine can lose half a year.
As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko said there is no blockade of Donbas, only sanctions against Russian occupation.
