Ryanair pilots prepare to go on large-scale strike

UK-based Ryanair pilots said they plan to stage several strikes in August-September. The reason for conflict related to low wages, Sky News reported.

So, there is a threat of a large-scale failure of flights at the end of the summer season. Such a pilots’ decision was supported by their union.

Pilots plans to hold two mass strikes so far. The first two-day strike will be from just after midnight on 22 August until just before midnight on 23 August, and the second will then be held from September 2 until just before midnight on September 4.

The reason for the strikes is the discrepancy between the union and the management of Ryanair regarding the career development system and salaries, as well as management in general.
