Residents of 600 settlements across Ukraine experienced blackout after worsening weather conditions. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine.
“Some 600 settlements in 13 oblasts were de-energized, namely: Odesa (137 settlements), Dnipropetrovsk – 120 settlements, Kherson – 87 settlements, Mykolaiv – 59 settlements, Kirovohrad – 57 settlements, Donetsk – 35 settlements, Poltava – 27 settlements, Ivano-Frankivsk – 26 settlements, Zaporizhzhia – 19 settlements, Chernivtsi – 19 settlements, Cherkasy – 8 settlements, Vinnytsia- 4 settlements and Zakarpattia – 3 settlements,” the State Emergency Service noted.
Oblasts energy distribution companies (Oblenergo) deployed their repair teamsto tackle blackouts.
