Ukraine denounces, withdraws from two more CIS agreements

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine today at a meeting has withdrew from two more agreements concluded within the Commonwealth of Independent States.

This was announced by the representative of the Government in the Verkhovna Rada Vasyl Mokan:

“At today’s meeting, the Government adopted a draft resolution “On the denunciation and withdrawal of Ukraine from some agreements concluded within the Commonwealth of Independent States,” the message reads.

In particular, the decree provides to denounce the Agreement on cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine of March 12, 1993; withdraw from the Agreement on Cooperation on Sanitary Protection of the Territory of the CIS Member States of May 31, 2001 and the Agreement on the Establishment of the Coordination Council for Plant Quarantine of the CIS Member States of May 30, 2012.
