This decision was made the day before, on September 29, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the government portal said in a statement.
At the same time, Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk plans Ukraine to sign a new program of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in December this year.
“Colleagues from an honorable world organization came to Ukraine in order to start negotiations on a new 3-years program. This is the beginning of negotiations, which will continue for at least a few more months, until December, when, as we plan, the new program will be signed,” the head of government said.
Ukrainian PM added that before the new program to be signed, a several stages of negotiations will take place. So, in a few weeks, key ministers of the Ukrainian government will visit the IMF office located in the USA in order to reach preliminary agreements on the composition and structure of the new program.
