The Cabinet of Ministers at an emergency extraordinary meeting held on May 3, authorized scheduled hospitalization events and planned operations until the end of quarantine, with mandatory COVID-19 testing for patients. This was announced by the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov, lb.ua reports.
The decision will take effect immediately after publication in the official newspaper of the government.
“I think that tomorrow we will be allowed to carry out vital planned operations, scheduled hospitalizations exclusively, that is, if they are very necessary,” Stepaniv said.
To avoid the spread of coronavirus, patient will be hospitalized only after they undergo COVID-19 PCR-testing.
