The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Ukraine’s representatives in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG).
The corresponding decree No.414/2019 of June 19 was published on the presidential website.
“In order to ensure the representation of Ukraine in the TCG and achieve the goals with regard to a peaceful settlement of the situation in certain territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, I hereby decree to appoint the following Ukraine’s representatives in the working subgroups of the TCG: Bogdan Bondar (subgroup for security); Ihor Veremiy (subgroup for social and economic issues); Valeria Lutkovska (subgroup for humanitarian issues); Oleksandr Motsyk (subgroup on political issues),” the document says.
In addition, the President ordered the Cabinet to provide funding for all costs associated with ensuring the representation of Ukraine in the TCG.
