President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed the chairmen of the Darnytsia and Desniansky district state administrations of Kyiv, Serhii Levada and Hennady Zabolotny.
The corresponding orders #236/2019-rp and #237/2019-rp are posted on the presidential website.
Levada and Zabolotny were fired “due to the termination of the term of office of the president of Ukraine.”
The president also reassigned Ruslan Demchenko as his advisor.
By the decree #547/2019 dated July 23, Demchenko was dismissed from the post of adviser to the head of state. The relevant decree is published on the President’s website.
At the same time, by another decree #548/2019 dated July 23, Demchenko was appointed presidential adviser.
In addition, Zelensky appointed Serhii Andrushchenko, Head of the SBU’s Department of National Statehood Protection.
The decree #550/2019 was published on the website of the head of state.
“To appoint Serhii Andrushchenko as Head of the SBU’s Department of National Statehood Protection,” the document says.
As The Journalist reported, Zelensky appointed chief of Ukraine’s State Security Administration.
