President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky initiated the postponement of the imposition of penalties for untimely customs clearance of cars with European registration plates.

This was stated by the representative of the Servant of the People Party and the future head of the infrastructure committee, Vladislav Krykliy.

“The president has initiated a bill that proposes to postpone by the end of the year the date of application of penalties for untimely customs clearance of cars with foreign registration plates,” Liga.net reports.

According to Krykliy, an abnormal number of car registrations at euro numbers was observed in January-February of 2019. In January 2019, more than 200,000 vehicle registrations were recorded, in January 2018 were registered 70,000 cars.

“As I understand, only persons who cannot or do not have documents have remained unregistered. They are trying to delay the registration. When the fine free period ends, we will check the number of registrations. If there are no people who wish to register now, why should they appear in next six months? Therefore, I think this is the last delay,” the representative of the Servant of the People emphasized.

As The Journalist reported, Razumkov said there will be no untouchables in parliament.
