The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that at a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, a number of agreements have been reached as regards the support for our state in the defense sphere, in particular, on the supply of armored vehicles. The press service of the President of Ukraine informs about it.

Zelensky said he did not really want to disclose the details yet, but would do so after the agreement to be signed.

The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, in his turn, confirmed the progress in the negotiations on the issues of armed support for Ukraine.

“We already see the investments from the Canadian companies in the production of ammunition in Ukraine. And we will continue our cooperation with Ukraine, so that it can receive the support it needs from the Armed Forces of Canada. We will continue the UNIFIER operation, we will do everything for Ukraine to receive the necessary equipment,” the Canadian Prime Minister added.

Trudeau noted that Canada had added Ukraine to the list that allows the export of weapons, and recognized it as a solution enabling Ukraine to counter Russia’s actions.

As The Journalist reported, Ukraine and Canada have agreed to simplify entry for Ukrainians.
