On December 6, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with servicemen in the Joint Force Operation area and stated that the Ukrainian army is ready for any development of the situation in Donbas.
“Once again, I was convinced that our units have a high level of combat readiness for any situation,” the head of state said, adding that after the achievement of peace in Donbas, “no one in the Ukrainian government would forget about the further development of a strong and capable Ukrainian army.”
Zelensky also stressed that the authorities are working around the clock to return peace to Donbas, UNIAN reports.
“We have a lot of work, a lot of difficulties, but we will definitely overcome everything, because the most important thing on our side is the truth. And, therefore, victory will be on our side,” the president said.
According to the head of state, the whole world sees that Ukraine is reaching peace through diplomatic means.
